AC Drive Systems

We are now selling 96-108 volt AC drive systems for small vehicles under 3000 pounds. These AC systems offer more than twice the power of a similar DC system. The controller has smooth regen braking and offers great acceleration and low end tourque. This motor/controller combo is available now. AC induction drive systems are now available for EV conversions. Compared to DC motors AC systems are typically more efficient and have the benefit of regenerative braking. This is a form of motor braking where energy is put back into the battery pack when the vehicle brakes or the driver lets off the accelerator. AC drive systems are quite new and there are a limited number of companies making them. As well as being very efficient AC motors are also brushless which means that they require no maintenance.
